An Internist is a personal physician who provides long-term, comprehensive care in the office and in the hospital, managing both common and complex illnesses of adolescents, adults and the elderly. I was born in Bogota, Colombia, where I finished medical school. I obtained my Internal Medicine training from the University of Florida. For the past 18 years, I have lived in Jacksonville with my husband raising our two boys. We enjoy the beach, travel and as a family are very active in our church and faith. My special joy is walking on the beach with friends and family.
I am committed to serving our community. I am a Medical Director for F.R.I.E.N.D.S Cancer Care Group, which is a faith-based cancer support group integrating science and faith in a powerful way for healing.
