Senior Vice President, Managed Care & Utilization Management
Philip Boyce joined Baptist Health in 1995 after a career in managed care in the health insurance industry. He is responsible for managed care strategy, operations and utilization management for Baptist Health’s hospitals and physician groups.
Boyce served as president of the Florida Association of Managed Care Executives in 2003 and 2011, and is currently serving on the Transparency Committee and Managed Care Committee of the Florida Hospital Association Board. He serves on the board of directors of Pine Castle, an agency for those who are challenged with developmental and intellectual disabilities, and is a member of Healthcare Financial Management Association.
Boyce received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Azusa Pacific University in California, and his Master of Arts in Intercultural Communications from AG Theological Seminary in Springfield, Mo. He received the Azusa Pacific University Centennial Alumni Award given to the top 100 alumni in the first 100 years.
