Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville is seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Nurse Manager to join our Emergency Department at Baptist ED North. As an Assistant Nurse Manager, you will be Responsible for:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients as needed to support unit operations
- Assess and reassess unit workflow and clinical performance to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Serve as a liaison between staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary departments
- Act as a clinical and operational resource for staff; mentor team members and provide ongoing feedback
- Monitor and adjust staffing and man-hours in alignment with the unit budget
- Assist the Nurse Manager with employee relations, including disciplinary actions and annual performance evaluations
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional excellence
