Job Summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to join our Emergency Department team at Baptist Medical Center Clay. This is a full-time, Night shift opportunity with a 36-hour per week commitment, working 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM. As an Assistant Nurse Manager you will be Responsible for:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients as needed to support unit operations
• Assess and reassess unit workflow and clinical performance to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Serve as a liaison between staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary departments
• Act as a clinical and operational resource for staff; mentor team members and provide ongoing feedback
• Monitor and adjust staffing and man-hours in alignment with the unit budget
• Assist the Nurse Manager with employee relations, including disciplinary actions and annual performance evaluations
• Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional excellence

Education Required

Associate's Degree - Nursing

Education Preferred

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

Experience

• 3-5 Years Medical Surgical Experience
• 3-5 Years Nursing Experience
• Telemetry Experience
• Leadership Experience
• Charge Nurse Experience

License and Certification

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Trauma Nurse Core Course Certification (TNCC) Preferred
• Certified Emergency Registered Nurse (CEN) Preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
