Job Summary

We are looking for an Assistant Nurse Manager to join our Pediatric Med/Surg team at Wolfson Children's Hospital. This is a full-time day shift position. This unit provides compassionate care for pediatric patients with medical-surgical and progressive acuity including medically acute behavioral health patients.

As an Assistant Nurse Manager for Wolfson Children's Hospital, your duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assists the Nurse Manager with unit/area operations
  • Works closely with the direct care staff during their shift to deliver quality patient care
  • Facilitates the admission, transfer and discharge flow
  • Takes a lead role in implementing changes
  • Supports and coaches staff development
  • Makes shift to shift patient care assignments
  • Takes a direct patient care assignment as needed.

Education & Credential Requirements:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Licensed Registered Nurse Required
