Job Summary
Baptist Health is currently looking to add a Cardiac Echo Sonographer/Structural Heart to our Pediatric Cardiology Unit at Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a Full-Time, day shifts opportunitiy. This Cardiac Echo Sonographer will help physicians diagnose heart problems in patients. This Cardiac Echo Sonographer will have a clear understanding of congenital heart disease and repairs. This Cardiac Echo Sonographer will operate ultrasound equipment that provides moving 2-D or 3-D images of the heart and its chambers.
As a Cardiac Echo Sonographer, you will be responsible for:
- Providing as needed back up to other non-invasive areas of the Cardiac Department
- Providing diagnostic examinations of the heart using Ultrasound techniques
- Reviewing and recording cases.
- Assisting physician's in both the OR and Cath Lab for TEE procedures.
- Being able to work in both clinic and hospital setting.

- 1-2 years Cardiac Echo Sonography Experience
License and Certification
- Peds Echo Credentials through either ARDMS or CCI within 18 months of hire Required
- Pediatric Echocardiography (PE) (ARDMS-RDCS) Required
- Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCCS) Required
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) Preferred Or
- Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCCS) Preferred Or
- Fetal Echocardiography (FE) (ARDMS-RDCS) Preferred Or
- Pediatric Echocardiography (PE) (ARDMS-RDCS) Preferred Or
- Adult Echocardiography (AE) (ARDMS-RDCS) Preferred Or
