Job Summary
Baptist Health is hiring a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor in our Laboratory Department at Baptist Medical Center Beaches! This is a full-time, day shift opportunity. As a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor, you will assist the laboratory department with meeting regulatory requirements, review of QC/QA, scheduling, observing techs, and signing off on competencies.
Clinical Laboratory Supervisor, Job Responsibilities:
- Exercising general oversight of all technical sections and performing supervisory functions for all staff of the Laboratory Services department.
- Ensuring that all Laboratory procedures are performed in accordance with prudent Medical Laboratory practices.
- Assuming limited administrative responsibilities for Laboratory operations.
- Maintaining expertise and perform technical, specimen collection/processing, LIS, general department, and clerical functions in one or more laboratory sections.
Experience Requirements:
- Over 5 years Medical Technologist Experience
- Progressive Management Experience
Education & Credential Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- Master of Arts/Science (MA/MS) Preferred
- Licensed Laboratory Supervisor Required
- Certified Medical Technologist (MT) Preferred
- Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Preferred
