Clinical Pharmacist, Hospital at Home, Baptist Health

Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is currently looking for a Pharmacist to join our Hospital at Home team at Baptist Downtown. This is a full-time opportunity working Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. This Pharmacist will be checking patient orders, authorizations, dispensing medications, will be supervising technicians, and consulting with other medical staff on medication and regimens. This Pharmacist will have the autonomy to work independently. A Pharmacists license in the State of Florida is required as well as In-Patient Hospital Pharmacy experience. IV Room/ Infusion experience and a completed PGY1 is preferred, but not required.

As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for:

• Entering orders with great accuracy.
• Checking technician work for accuracy prior to release of medications and solutions to the floor.
• Supervising technicians and serves on committes as assigned.
• Answering questions for all health care professionals
• Serving as a consultant for members of the medical staff.
• Monitoring patient therapy as assigned, including pharmacokinetics services.

• 1-2 years Hospital Pharmacy Experience
• 1-2 years Experience with Automated Dispensing Devices
• Residency Training
• Experience with Pharmacy Information Systems

License and Certification

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Registered Pharmacist Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Pharmacist Required
