Baptist Health is seeking to add a Clinical Pulmonary Services Educator. This is a full-time day shift opportunity.
At Baptist Health, the Clinical Pulmonary Services Educator supports both Adult and Pediatric Pulmonary Care departments for clinical and non-clinical practices and the delivery of services specific to each area. This role is responsible for advancing pulmonary care practices through staff orientation, education, training, and ongoing professional development. The educator leads program development and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting interdisciplinary clinical teams to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality patient care.
This position provides program oversight related to pulmonary care (based on licensure) and the model of care, while leading education efforts that strengthen clinical competency and team performance across the organization.
As a Clinical Pulmonary Services Educator, you will be responsible for:
Supporting Adult and Pediatric pulmonary care departments in both clinical and non-clinical practices and service delivery
Providing program oversight related to pulmonary care (based on licensure) and model of care standards
Leading program development and continuous improvement initiatives
Supporting staff orientation, education, training, and competency development
Supporting the education and development of interdisciplinary clinical staff teams
Aligning training and education programs with organizational priorities
Coordinating employee orientation activities and onboarding processes
Providing continuing education and professional development opportunities for staff
Demonstrating strong leadership, teaching, and facilitation skills
Promoting evidence-based practice and supporting quality improvement initiatives
Education & Credential Requirements:
Associate of Science Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
Or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Preferred
Or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Preferred
Florida Licensed Respiratory Therapist Required-DOH
