Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Cook I to our Dietary Department at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a full-time opportunity working as needed to cover various shift times and days, including weekends. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in multiple areas within the kitchen and be proficient in a variety of cooking techniques and production methods. ServSafe certification is a plus.
As a Cook I, you will be responsible for:
Measuring, mixing, portioning and cooking according to provided recipes and production charts for patients
Performing clean, safe, and sanitary work in accordance with department policies
Filling out all logs, production charts, cleaning schedules, etc assigned by management in accordance with department policies and procedures
Working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to pivot quickly to perform other duties as assigned
Experience Requirements:
Less than 1 year Food Service Experience Preferred
Less than 1 year Cooking Experience Preferred
Education & Credential Requirements:
High School Diploma (Prefered)
