Job Summary

Job SummaryThe Coordinator, Baptist Health Wellness Center is responsible for the daily operations of a Wellness Center location, including health coaching, biometric screenings, care coordination and navigation, program planning, community outreach, and office management. This role serves as a resource for individuals seeking health and wellness support while promoting Baptist Health services and wellness initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct health risk assessments and biometric screenings, including blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, height/weight, and body composition measurements.
• Provide health coaching and connect individuals with appropriate healthcare providers, wellness programs, and community resources.
• Coordinate educational programs, wellness events, and community outreach activities.
• Support marketing efforts through newsletters, promotional materials, and event communications.
• Maintain accurate documentation, data entry, and reporting related to wellness programs and client interactions.
• Manage day-to-day Wellness Center operations, including scheduling, inventory, and compliance activities.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, and Wellness Center visitors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Science, Health Administration, Public Health, Exercise Science, or a related field required.
• One to two years of experience in health coaching, wellness programming, health promotion, or conducting health assessments preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Health Coach Certification required upon or within 90 days of hire.
• Strong communication, customer service, organization, and relationship-building skills.

Education Required

Bachelor Degree (BA/BS)

Experience

• Experience with evaluating wellness and health promotion programs
• Experience implementing wellness and health promotion programs
• Experience conducting health risk assessments
• Experience coaching wellness needs

License and Certification

• Health Coach Certification - Varies
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA
• Driver's License - DMV
