Job Summary
Baptist Health is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in our Pediatric Ultrasound Department at Wolfson Children's Hospital. This is a PRN, various shifts opportunity.
At Baptist Health, our Diagnostic Medical Sonographers play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care through advanced imaging by performing high-quality ultrasound examination, assist physicians, and ensure the safety and comfort of pediatric patients.
As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, responsibilities will include:
- Performs high quality, diagnostic ultrasound and peripheral vascular procedures.
- Promotes good will amongst co-workers and other departments and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
- Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.

If hired, must pass certification in Sonography from the ARDMS or ARRT (S) within 18 months of hire date. Pediatric and ED experience is preferred.

- Ultrasound Experience
- Experience with vascular ultrasound
- Customer Service Experience
License and Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Registered Technologist in Sonography ARRT (S) Required Or
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Songrapher (ARDMS) Required Or
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Preferred Or
- Registered Technologist in Vascular Sonography ARRT (VS) Preferred Or
