Job Summary
Baptist Health is hiring a Director, Prep and Sterile for Adults & Peds for BMCJ and WCH.
Under the general supervision of the System Executive Director of Sterile Processing, and in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards, the Director of Sterile Processing:
- Serves as the subject matter expert for the decontamination and reprocessing of instruments and equipment for Baptist Jacksonville.
- Ensures compliance with the preparation of surgical instruments and supplies for use in all surgical and procedural areas.
Key responsibilities include:
- Direct supervision of the campus sterile processing manager and team.
- Development and implementation of department goals, ensuring quality and safety outcomes, while partnering with surgical services and other departments.
Must have working knowledge of regulatory and accreditation requirements in accordance with AAMI, HSPA, AORN, TJC, and OSHA, etc.
