Job Summary

The role provides strategic and operational leadership for Baptist Health's provider recruitment and credentialing functions, ensuring the effective attraction, hiring, onboarding and privileging of physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) across the system. This role oversees a team of recruitment and credentialing professionals responsible for building and maintaining a high-performing, compliant and mission-aligned provider workforce. The Executive Director partners closely with operational leaders, physician enterprise executives, and human resources to develop strategies that support Baptist Health's growth, access, and service line priorities. With accountability for both the talent acquisition and credentialing lifecycle, this leader ensures that Baptist Health's provider experience from candidate outreach to credentialing completion, is efficient, engaging and aligned with organizational goals and regulatory standards.

Experience

  • Over 10 years Progressive Leadership Experience in Provider or Physician Recruitment Required
  • Over 5 years Experience overseeing credentialing and privileging in a healthcare system or multi-specia Required
  • Over 5 years Senior Management Experience Required
  • Over 5 years Strong Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements/credentialing compliance standards Required
  • Over 5 years Success building high-performing teams/driving process improvement in recruitment Required

License and Certification

  • Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants (AESC) Preferred
  • ASPR Associate Certification (AASPR) Preferred
