Food Service Associate I

**Up to $1500 Sign-On Bonus if hired**

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Food Service Associate to our Dietary Department at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a full-time opportunity working as needed to cover various shift times and days, including weekends. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in multiple areas within the kitchen and be proficient in a variety of cooking techniques and production methods. ServSafe certification is a plus.

This Food Service Associate I, you will be responsible for:

• Warewashing and Dishwashing

• Assist in the sanitation and general cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas

• Assist with putting stock away and delivering floor stock when necessary

• Assist with the delivery and retrieval of meal carts for patient floors

• Maintaining a safe and sanitary work station in compliance with department policies and standards

• Perform other duties as assigned

Experience Requirements:

• Less than 1 year Food Service Experience Preferred

• Less than 1 year Cooking Experience Preferred

Education & Credential Requirements:

• High School Diploma (Prefered)
