Interventional Radiology Nurse, Special Procedures, Baptist Downtown

Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse to our Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology team at our Baptist Downtown location in Jacksonville, FL. This Registered Nurse position is a Full Time days working rotational 4 nine hour day shifts (M-F). This Registered Nurse will also participate in rotating call and holidays. This Registered Nurse for Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology will do placements for IR lines, filters, and catheters. This Registered Nurse for Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology may also assist with monitoring patients in MRI who have implants or devices as well as assist in other radiology departments as needed.

Registered Nurse, Job Responsibilities

• Assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services

• Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care

• Coordination and preparation of assigned room/case, assessment of patient care needs and the anticipation of needs of the case

• Assisting the Interventional Radiologists

• Call required

Experience Requirements;

• 1-2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred

• 1-2 years Telemetry Experience

• Hospital Experience

Education & Credential Requirements;

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
