Laboratory Clinical Supervisor, Baptist ED Town Center

Job Summary

Baptist Health is currently seeking a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor at Baptist Emergency Department Town Center!

This is a full-time, day shift opportunity including an occasional weekend and holiday rotation. As a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor, you will assist the laboratory department with meeting regulatory requirements, review of QC/QA, scheduling, observing techs, and signing off on competencies.

This Clinical Laboratory Supervisor will have the responsibilities of:

• Exercising general oversight of all technical sections and performing supervisory functions for all staff of the Laboratory Services department.
• Ensuring that all Laboratory procedures are performed in accordance with prudent Medical Laboratory practices.
• Assuming limited administrative responsibilities for Laboratory operations.
• Maintaining expertise and perform technical, specimen collection/processing, LIS, general department, and clerical functions in one or more laboratory sections.

Any candidate applying to this position must hold a Medical Technologist Supervisor's license in the State of Florida and have over 5 years of experience as a Medical Technologist. This candidate must also have progressive management experience.
