We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant II for our Baptist Primary Care, Silverleaf office located in St. Johns, FL. This is a Full-Time opportunity.
The experienced candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients and administering EKGs. Experience is preferred.
Medical Assistant, Job Responsibilities:
- Provides medical assistance to physician
- Obtains vital signs
- Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
- Maintains medical documentation
- Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
- Processes prescription requests and referrals
Experience Requirements:
- 3-5 years Patient Care Experience
- Experience in Physician's office
Education & Credential Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Certified Medical Assistant Required
