Baptist Health is looking to add a Medical Assistant in our Baptist Primary Care Beachwalk office in St. Johns, Florida. This opening is a full-time opportunity, Monday-Friday from 8:00AM-5:00PM.
The experienced candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and assisting provider.
Medical Assistant, Job Responsibilities:
Provides nursing assistance to physician
Obtains vital signs
Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
Rooming patients, completing tests
Phone Triage, taking messages, returning calls
Discharging and scheduling next visits
Experience Requirements:
1-2 years Patient Care Experience
Experience in Physician's office
Education & Credential Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED Required
Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Preferred
