Medical Assistant, PRN, Hill Breast Center

Job Summary

Baptist Health is seeking to add an energetic and dynamic Medical Assistant (MA) for our Hill Breast Clinic located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN opportunity with shifts available from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM or 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will have open availability and be eager to pick up multiple shifts each week.

• Provides assistance to the clinical team including the providers.

• Obtains vital signs, greet and chaperon patients during medical visits Telephone triage Patient education.

• Maintains rooms stock and exam room turnover Maintains medical documentation and patient intake to include preparation of charts Prepare medical equipment for sterilization.

• Assists with clinic procedures including preparation of sterile fields Collects and prepares laboratory specimens Assists with Staple, suture, drain removal as directed Prepare sterile field for in office procedures.

• Manage clinical equipment and supply inventory Serve as a liaison between physicians and other clinical members.

Medical Assistant Experience:

• 1-2 Years of Medical Office Experience

• 2 Years of Medical Assistant Experience

Education & Credential Requirements:

• High School Diploma Required

• Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA Required
