Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Mental Health Technician in our Behavioral Health Unit at Baptist Medical Center in Downton Jacksonville. This is a Full Time Nights opportunity. 7:00pm-7:00am
Mental Health Technician, Job Responsibilities:
- Provides care to patients in a manner that considers safety, comfort, and therapeutic environment under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
- Documents observations on assigned patients, Communicates appropriate information regarding patient's condition.
- Assists with patient education groups, total milieu supervision, assists with admissions/discharges as assigned.
- *CPI Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
Experience Requirements:
- Less than 1 year Mental Health Technician Experience
- Nursing Assistant Experience
- Corpsman Experience
Education & Credential Requirements:
High School Diploma (required)
Associate of Science (preferred)
