*Up to $500 Sign on Bonus for Full Time Nights*

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Mental Health Technician in our Behavioral Health Unit at Baptist Medical Center in Downton Jacksonville. This is a Full Time Nights opportunity. 7:00pm-7:00am

Mental Health Technician, Job Responsibilities:

• Provides care to patients in a manner that considers safety, comfort, and therapeutic environment under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
• Documents observations on assigned patients, Communicates appropriate information regarding patient's condition.
• Assists with patient education groups, total milieu supervision, assists with admissions/discharges as assigned.
• *CPI Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Experience Requirements:

• Less than 1 year Mental Health Technician Experience
• Nursing Assistant Experience
• Corpsman Experience

Education & Credential Requirements:

High School Diploma (required)

Associate of Science (preferred)
