Job Summary
Baptist Health is looking for a compassionate, capable, and team-oriented Mobility Technician to join our Nursing Support team at Baptist Nassau in Fernandina Beach, FL. This is a Part-Time Days position working 12 hour shifts.
We are looking for candidates who thrive in a multi-disciplinary environment and focus on providing quality patient care. Mobility Technicians assist nursing staff in supporting the mobility needs of patients.
Mobility Technician Job Responsibilities:
Assist clinical staff in the safe repositioning, ambulation, and transfer of patients
Utilize patient handling equipment such as lifts, slide sheets, and transfer boards
Respond to mobility requests from nursing and rehabilitation departments
Support fall prevention strategies and early mobility protocols
Document patient mobility activities in accordance with hospital policies
Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any malfunctions or safety concerns.
Mobility Technician Experience:
None
Education:
HSD/GED required
Associate's Degree Preferred
Licenses and Certifications:
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
