Job Summary
Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Monitor Technician Supervisor to join our centralized monitoring unit in Jacksonville, FL.
As a Monitor Technician Supervisor, you will oversee cardiac monitor technicians, ensure continuous telemetry surveillance operations, and support high-quality patient outcomes through effective staff management, operational oversight, and clinical coordination.
Monitor Technician Supervisor Job Responsibilities:
Supervise and support Cardiac Monitor Technicians within the telemetry monitoring unit
Maintain daily clinical operations of the Cardiac Monitor Unit to ensure efficient workflow and patient monitoring accuracy
Monitor staff performance, productivity, and compliance with departmental standards and hospital policies
Oversee telemetry equipment and computer system functionality; communicate operational concerns to nursing leadership as needed
Ensure continuous telemetry monitoring surveillance for assigned patient populations
Promote quality improvement initiatives, patient safety standards, and excellent customer service
Monitor Technician Supervisor Experience:
- 3-5 years EKG
Monitor Technician Supervisor Education & Credential Requirements:
- High School Diploma
