We are looking to add a Nerve Conduction Technologist at Baptist Beaches, located in Jacksonville Beach, FL. This is a full-time, day-shift opportunity Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.
As the Nerve Conduction Technologist, you will perform diagnostic tests to evaluate nerve function and identify abnormalities in the nervous system. Responsibilities include preparing patients, operating specialized equipment, recording test results, and ensuring accurate documentation for physician review. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide compassionate patient care in a clinical setting.
The Nerve Conduction Technologist will be responsible for:
- Working closely with Neurology to perform scheduled and unscheduled tests.
- Working closely with Neurologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions
- Providing service education to staff and ancillary departments for the enhancement of patient care
- Monitoring in-patient Video EEG for an uninterrupted, clean recording.
- Effectively understanding the goals and implications of the monitoring study, including impact on the patient's lifestyle.

Experience
- One Year EEG Experience Preferred
License and Certification
- Registered Nerve Conduction Tech (RNCT) Preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Registered EEG Technologist (ABRET) Preferred
- Certified EEG Technician Preferred
