Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Nurse Manager position in our Outpatient Oncology Clinic at Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center – Clay and South locations.

As a Nurse Manager, you will lead a dynamic outpatient oncology team across both Medical Oncology and Infusion Clinics, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. With a strong emphasis on Infusion Oncology, this role blends clinical expertise with strategic leadership—supporting staff development, optimizing workflows, and driving operational excellence across both settings.
Nurse Manager responsibilities include:
Oversee daily clinic operations and delegate tasks to nursing staff
Manage and verify nursing schedules to ensure full coverage across shifts
Conduct performance assessments and support professional growth
Provide direct patient care and assist physicians throughout the day
Supervise infusion therapy services, ensuring safe and effective administration of chemotherapy and biologics
Apply the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to guide care delivery
Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
Educate patients and their support systems about disease processes and treatment plans
Serve as a patient advocate and support clinical staff in delivering optimal care
Coordinate care with ancillary services and promote process improvements
