Job Summary
Assists RNs in the care of patients with healthcare needs including activities of daily living, maintaining a safe environment, collecting lab specimens, intake and output monitoring, and electronic medical record documentation • Works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN) • Courses Required: Fundamentals of Nursing from an accredited school of nursing and current enrollment in nursing school. The following have been grandfathered into the Nursing Assistant role: Foreign nurse, Foreign Physician, and nursing assistants hired prior to April 23, 2015 without a Florida CNA license.Education Required
