Job Summary

**Up to $1,000 Sign on Bonus**

Baptist Medical Center is hiring an Occupational Therapist for the Acute Care Rehab Department in the Fleming Island community of the Jacksonville, Florida metro area (Clay County). This is a PRN position located at Baptist Clay.

The Occupational Therapist will support the Acute Care Rehab team. Caseload is for adult acute care population, to include: ortho, neuro, ICU, and general medical. This position requires a candidate with previous experience working in acute care rehab setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Evaluates and treats patients with neurological, orthopedic, and medical diagnoses.
• Extensive patient/family education.
• Works with multidisciplinary team care.
• In-services physicians and hospital staff.

Experience Requirements:

• At least one year of Occupational Therapy experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred

Education & Credential Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy Required
• Licensed Occupational Therapist from FL Department of Health Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association Required
