Job Summary
We are looking to add an Office Specialist II at Baptist Orthopedics, located at Baptist Clay in Fleming Island, FL. This is a full-time, day-shift opportunity, and will report to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
As the Office Specialist II, you will provide business services for patients and the healthcare system. You will handle patient registration, posting charges and payments, and telephone protocols. There are 5 providers in this office.
The Office Specialist II will be responsible for:
- Assisting patients as needed
- Reviewing and following up on unpaid insurance claims
- Processing mail on a daily basis
- Working with insurance carriers and Baptist Primary Care Centers
- Check in and check out
- Assisting with referrals as needed
- Scanning documents
