Baptist Health is hiring an Office Specialist II at Baptist Primary Care located at Baptist Amelia Island in Riverside in Fernandina Beach, FL. This is a full-time day-shift opportunity, and will report to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

As the Office Specialist II, you will provide business services for patients and the healthcare system. You will handle patient registration, posting charges and payments, and telephone protocols. This is a position for a focused, task-oriented and self-motivated individual who thrives in a busy atmosphere. Our ideal candidate is an energetic team player who excels in a professional setting.

Office Specialist II Job Requirements:

  • Assisting patients as needed

  • Reviewing and following up on unpaid insurance claims

  • Processing mail on a daily basis

  • Working with insurance carriers and Baptist Primary Care Centers

  • Check in and check out

  • Assisting with referrals as needed

  • Scanning documents

Experience Requirements:

  • One-Two Years Front Desk Experience Preferred

  • Experience Working in a Medical Office Preferred

Education & Credential Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Required
