Baptist Health is hiring an experienced Office Specialist for the Flex Team. This position is PRN and is required to work 12 shifts per month across 3 different geographical locations.

The primary Responsibility for the Office Specialist is to provide business services for patients and the healthcare system. The Float Pool provides coverage for all offices within Primary Care. There are a few primary benefits to working in this department. The first is schedule flexibility. This is very popular for candidates who need personal variations in their schedule or who are currently attending school to move up in Baptist. Float staff also get to learn a little bit about different offices, giving them varied experiences. Finally, Float Pool offers a higher pay than other departments.

Office Specialist Job Requirements:

  • Patient registration
  • Check in and check out
  • Scanning documents
  • Posting charges and payments
  • Telephone protocols
  • Assisting patients as needed

Experience Requirements:

  • One-Two Years Front Desk Experience Preferred
  • Experience Working in a Medical Office Preferred

Education & Credential Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Required
