We are looking to add an Office Specialist at Baptist Primary Care Rheumatology, located in Downtown Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time, day-shift opportunity, and will report to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

As the Office Specialist, you will provide business services for patients and the healthcare system. You will handle patient registration, posting charges and payments, and telephone protocols. This is a position for a focused, task-oriented and self motivated individual who thrives in a busy atmosphere. Our ideal candidate is an energetic team player who excels in a professional setting.

The Office Specialist will be responsible for:

• Assisting patients as needed
• Reviewing and following up on unpaid insurance claims
• Processing mail on a daily basis
• Working with insurance carriers and Baptist Primary Care Centers
• Check in and check out
• Assisting with referrals as needed
• Scanning documents
