Job Summary
Baptist NORTH is hiring a Patient Access Representative II to join our Patient access team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a part-time, night shift opportunity Tuesday - Friday 5:00pm-2:30am.
Patient Access Representative II, Job Responsibilities:
- Registers patients accurately and efficiently
- Utilization of multiple systems and interfaces
- Cross-Trained in order to work in multiple patient access areas
- Maintains service excellence to patients and visitors for face-to-face and telephonic encounters
- Contributes to PAS Goals as defined annually (Collections, Palm Scanning, etc.)
- Possesses a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO
- Maintains a professional relationship with all clinical and non-clinical team members
- Able to articulate compliance documentation and ensure completion of required patient consent forms
- Maintains patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
Experience Requirements:
- 1-2 years Customer Service Experience Required
- 1-2 years Healthcare experience required
- 1-2 years Insurance experience required

- High School Diploma Required
