Job Summary
Baptist Medical Center Beach is looking to add a Patient Transporter in our Patient Escort Services Department at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a PRN opportunity.
The primary responsibilities of the Transporter are:
accept patient move assignments from the Dispatcher
to provide a safe and efficient transport of the patient;
This may be done utilizing a wheelchair, stretcher, or bed and must always be done in a quick yet safe manner.
work closely with the nursing staff to ensure that continuity of patient care is maintained at all times.
be compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
Experience Requirements:
Less than 1 year Experience working in a health care setting
Education & Credential Requirements:
High School Diploma Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
