Wolfson Children's Hospital is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist to our Pediatric Outpatient Rehab Team in downtown Jacksonville, FL. This is a part-time, day shift opportunity at Wolfson Children's Hospital. No weekend, holiday, or call rotation.
We are looking to hire an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. This part-time position will work with a pediatric caseload at Wolfson Children's Hospital. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of recent experience in medically complex infant feeding.
Speech Language Pathologist, Pediatric Outpatient Rehab, Job Responsibilities:
Evaluate, plan, direct, and administer treatment to patients of all diagnoses.
Provide extensive patient/family education.
Provide multidisciplinary team care with other rehab professionals, nurses, physicians, social service providers, respiratory therapists, support staff, etc.
Participate in departmental operations and performance improvement activities.
Responsible for remaining within budget guidelines.
Participate in mandatory education and licensure requirements.
Experience Requirements:
1 or more year(s) Developmental Experience Strongly Preferred
Speech/Language Experience Required
Voice Experience Preferred
Neuro Experience Preferred
Education & Credential Requirements:
- Master of Science Or Master of Arts Required
- Licensed Speech Language Pathologist Required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required from the American Heart Association Required
