Wolfson Children's Hospital is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist to our Pediatric Outpatient Rehab Team in downtown Jacksonville, FL.
This is a full-time, day shift opportunity with Wolfson Children's Hospital at the Southbank Outpatient Rehab Clinic in downtown Jacksonville, Florida. No weekend, holiday, or call rotation.
We are looking to hire an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. This full-time position will work with a pediatric caseload at Wolfson Children's Hospital. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of recent experience in medically complex infant feeding.
Job Responsibilities:
Evaluate, plan, direct, and administer treatment to patients of all diagnoses.
Provide extensive patient/family education.
Provide multidisciplinary team care with other rehab professionals, nurses, physicians, social service providers, respiratory therapists, support staff, etc.
Participate in departmental operations and performance improvement activities.
Responsible for remaining within budget guidelines.
Participate in mandatory education and licensure requirements.
Experience Requirements:
Experience working in an Outpatient setting strongly preferred
1 ore more years of Experience with medically complex infant feeding
Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Studies
Education & Credential Requirements:
- Master of Science Or Master of Arts Required
- Licensed Speech Language Pathologist Required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required from the American Heart Association Required
