Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add a PET Technologist to our team at Baptist Downtown, located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-time, day shift opportunity, Monday - Friday, 8:30 am-5 pm, with an on-call rotation every 8 weeks and a holiday coverage rotation as needed.

This PET Technologist will be responsible for providing patients with radioactive medication and operating imaging technology to track the radiation within the patient’s body. Their duties include sterilizing syringes, preparing patients for a scan, and processing image reports that indicate the presence of disease.

This PET Technologist will be responsible for the following:

  • Performing high-quality diagnostic procedures.
  • Knowledge of the State of (and adherence to) Florida rules and regulations regarding Radiation Control/Radioactive Materials.
  • Protecting patients, self, and others from unnecessary/excessive radiation exposure.
  • Complying with mandatory education and health requirements.
