Baptist Medical Center hiring a Physical Therapist for the Hospital Rehab Department in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. This is a full-time position located at the Baptist Beaches location. The expected schedule will be Sunday - Wednesday with Day shift hours (Monday - Wednesday hours expected to be 7:30am-6pm).

We are looking to add a full-time Physical Therapist to our inpatient, acute care team. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in acute care, ortho, neuro, wound care, hand therapy and splinting experience. Caseload includes various diagnoses - neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, and general medical. Candidates must be comfortable floating to other Baptist campuses in Jacksonville, FL for coverage purposes as needed.

Physical Therapist, Hospital Rehab Department, Job Responsibilities:

• Evaluates, plans, directs and administers physical therapy treatment to patients in an adult acute care, hospital inpatient setting.
• Provides patient care to help improve or restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.
• Provides minimal outpatient care, mainly for neuro patients and upper extremity wounds (job competency training available).
• Participates in departmental operations and in performance improvement activities.
• Responsible for remaining within budget guidelines.
• Participates in mandatory education and licensure requirements.
• Provides ongoing patient and family education.

• 1 or more years of Physical Therapy experience preferred
• Experience working in an Acute Care setting preferred
• Experience with Surgical Patient Care
• Experience with Orthopedics
• Experience with Neuro

License and Certification

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Physical Therapist Required
