The Preboarding Coordinator is responsible for managing all activities related to clearing new team members for hire. This role partners closely with hiring leaders and internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless, efficient, and compliant pre-employment process.
The coordinator oversees all preboarding requirements, including clearances, compliance, and onboarding coordination for an assigned area of responsibility. This position plays a critical role in ensuring candidates are fully clear and prepared to begin employment on time at their designated work locations.
Additionally, the Preboarding Coordinator supports the organization’s talent strategy by contributing to the successful onboarding of high-quality candidates who will help advance the needs of the community.
Preboarding Coordinator, Recruitment, Hybrid, Baptist Jacksonville, Job Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate all pre-employment clearance activities, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements
Partner with hiring leaders and internal teams to facilitate a smooth and timely onboarding process
Monitor candidate progress and proactively address delays to ensure start date readiness
Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of preboarding activities
Deliver a high level of customer service to candidates and stakeholders throughout the preboarding process
Experience Requirements:
Experience in compliance, licensing, or preboarding within a healthcare or service-oriented setting required
Strong clerical and administrative skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in computer systems and technical tools
