Job Summary
Position Overview
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Geriatric Psychiatrist with a preference for outpatient experience to join our growing behavioral health team. This role is ideal for a clinician who thrives in an ambulatory setting and is passionate about delivering specialized, longitudinal care to older adults.
What You’ll Do
Provide comprehensive outpatient psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for geriatric patients, with a focus on conditions such as late-life depression, anxiety, cognitive disorders, and behavioral disturbances. You will maintain high standards of documentation, regulatory compliance, and patient-centered care.
Collaborative Practice
You will work closely with primary care physicians and specialists across Baptist Health’s broad network to deliver integrated, whole-person care for our older adult population. You will also contribute to medical education alongside second-year psychiatry residents from the University of Florida.

- Outpatient only — no call, no weekends, no overnight responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits

Training
- Residents and/or Fellows are accepted.
- Preference for geriatric trained psychiatrists, although not a hard and fast rule and everyone will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
- MD or DO.
- Active or eligible Florida medical license.
- DEA license required.
