Radiology Technologist, Diagnostic Radiology Department, Full-Time, Weekends, Baptist ED Oakleaf

Baptist Health is currently looking to add a full-time Radiology Technologist to our Diagnostic Radiology Department at Baptist ED Oakleaf in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time opportunity working a shift of Friday - Sunday, 9:00am - 9:30pm. Call and holiday rotation is required. ED and Pediatric experience is preferred.

As a Radiology Technologist, your day will consist of prepping rooms and positioning patients to capturing clear diagnostic images that guide clinical decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with nurses and physicians, operate advanced imaging equipment, and ensure every patient receives safe, accurate, and compassionate care.

This Radiology Technologist will be responsible for:

• Performing high-quality radiographic procedures.
• Promoting goodwill amongst co-workers and with other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
• Reporting to the Lead Technologist on shift.
• Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
• Comfortable with Pediatrics
• Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.

• None Customer Service Experience
• None Radiology/Imaging Experience
• None Experience working in a hospital setting

License and Certification

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography ARRT (CI) Required Or
• Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT Required Or
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Required Or
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required Or
