Baptist Health is currently looking to add a Radiology Technologist to our Imaging Department at Baptist ED Town Center in Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN, various shifts opportunity. Participation in call and holiday rotations is required.

As a Radiology Technologist, your day will consist of prepping rooms and positioning patients to capturing clear diagnostic images that guide clinical decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with nurses and physicians, operate advanced imaging equipment, and ensure every patient receives safe, accurate, and compassionate care.

This Radiology Technologist will be responsible for:

• Performing high-quality radiographic procedures.
• Promoting goodwill amongst co-workers and with other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
• Reporting to the Lead Technologist on shift.
• Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
• Comfortable with Pediatrics
• Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner, by state and federal regulations, or Lawful institutional policy.

• Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography ARRT (CI) Required Or
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Required Or
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required Or

Location Overview

The new 16-bed emergency center at the St. Johns Town Center houses two emergency centers under one roof - one for adults and one for children.  Conveniently located near the intersection of Interstate 295 and Town Center Parkway, the Baptist/Wolfson Children's emergency center is a true hospital ER, staffed 24/7 by board-certified emergency medicine physicians.  On-site technology includes ultrasound, CT scanner, X-ray, a full service laboratory and telemedicine consultation services.
