Baptist Medical Center MD Anderson is currently hiring for a Full-Time Days Referrals Coordinator to join our BMDA Patient Access Services HB Department at our Baptist MD Anderson South located in Jacksonville, FL area.

Shift Details: Monday through Friday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM.

This team is small with 2 individuals performing check-ins and 6-10 individuals performing check-outs. The team works closely alongside patients and providers. The team member will be comfortable in an office setting, hard worker, customer service and multi task skilled. The department focus is helping MD Anderson patients through their medical process by working with the patient's schedule and confirming patient appointments.

As a Referrals Coordinator you will be responsible for:

  • Providing referral assistance to physicians, patients, and insurance companies.
  • Maintaining medical documentation, schedules appointments, and processes prescriptions and referrals.

Referral Coordinator Experience:

  • Medical Office Experience
  • Referral and Authorization Experience

Education & Credential Requirements:

  • High School Diploma Required
