Registered Nurse, Cath Lab, Baptist South

Job Summary

Baptist Health is hiring Registered Nurses to our Cath Lab Department at our Baptist Medical Center South campus in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time opportunity, working four 10-hour shifts, 7:00am to 5:30pm. Candidates must be flexible to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and participate in the required call rotation.

As an Registered Nurse in our Cath Lab your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating with physician's office, other RNs, laboratory, dietary, x-ray, pharmacy and other areas of hospital
• Assist with cardiac and peripheral invasive procedures.
• Will be responsible for moderate sedation.
• Cath Lab RN's may assist with TEEs, and cardioversions.
• Assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services
• Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
• Coordination and preparation of assigned room/case, assessment of patient care needs and the anticipation of needs of the case

Experience Requirements:

• 2 Years Critical Care Experience Preferred

Education & Credential Requirements:

• ASN Required
• BSN Preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse – Florida Department of Health, Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA, Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – AHA, Preferred
