Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team at Baptist Jacksonville in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a Full-Time opportunity working Nights with a commitment of 36 hours per week. Scheduled shifts are 7:00pm-7:00am.The Emergency Department at Baptist Jacksonville is a large, high-acuity emergency center serving patients from across Northeast Florida. As Baptist Health’s flagship hospital, this facility provides advanced emergency care supported by leading specialists, cutting-edge technology, and strong clinical collaboration.
As a Registered Nurse you will be Responsible for:
- Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition
- Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement
- Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care
- Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital
- Coordinate care provided by ancillary services
- Act as the patient advocate
- Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities
Registered Nurse, Emergency Department, Experience
- 1-2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
- Emergency Department Experience Preferred
- Hospital Experience
- Telemetry Experience
Registered Nurse, Emergency Department, Education
- Associate of Science in Nursing Required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing Preferred
Registered Nurse, Emergency Department, Licenses and Certifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
- Certified Emergency Registered Nurse (CEN) Preferred
- Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification Preferred
- Trauma Nurse Core Course Certification (TNCC) Preferred
