Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery, Full-Time, Nights, Baptist Jacksonville

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our LD team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-time night position in our Labor and Delivery unit at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville as a Labor and Delivery RN you will:

Provide for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statementOrganize and supervision care provided by supportive personnelCoordinate care provided by ancillary servicesInclude patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing and individualized plan of careServe as the patient advocate and responsible for nursing care in newborn nursery and postpartum units including, but not limited to, caring for the antepartum patient, high risk postpartum patient and the mother/baby couplet

Experience Requirements:

• 1-2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience

• Newborn Nursery Experience

• Mother/Baby Nursing Experience

Education & Credential Requirements

• Associate's degree Required

• Bachelor's Degree Preferred

• Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS) Required

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred

• Registered Nurse Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring (RNC EFM) Preferred

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Preferred

• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
