Registered Nurse, LDRP, PRN, Nights, Baptist Beaches

Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center Beaches is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) team on a PRN night shift basis. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to mothers, newborns, and families throughout the childbirth experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care for labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, postpartum care, and newborn care.
• Advocate for patients and support individualized plans of care.
• Document patient care accurately and in accordance with hospital policies.
• Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition.

Qualifications:

• Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• BLS certification required; additional maternal/child health certifications preferred.
• Experience in Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Women's Services, or a related specialty preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
• Diploma nurses must have 5+ years of progressive nursing experience.

Schedule:

• PRN (as needed)
• Night Shift
