Job Summary
Baptist Health is looking to add a Registered Nurse to our Stress Lab at Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, FL. This is a part-time, day shift opportunity.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to patients in the Stress Lab. The RN will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while working closely with patients, families, physicians, and the multidisciplinary care team.
As a Registered Nurse in our Stress Lab, your responsibilities will include:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
- Monitor patients throughout diagnostic cardiac testing and procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Provide patient and family education regarding disease processes, treatment, and the plan of care.
- Administer medications and provide appropriate nursing interventions based on patient needs.
- Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and emergency situations.
- Coordinate care with physicians, ancillary services, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Supervise and coordinate care provided by supportive personnel as appropriate.
- Serve as a patient advocate while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and patient-safety standards.
Registered Nurse, Stress Lab Experience Requirements:
- 2 years of Critical Care experience preferred
Education & Credential Requirements:
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) required.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Diploma-prepared nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care experience.
