Job Summary
Baptist Health is currently hiring for a Revenue Cycle Manager to join our Patient Access Services Team at our Baptist Clay location here in the Jacksonville, FL area.
This is a full time day shift opportunity that will oversee Baptist Clay and Baptist Oakleaf.
The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience in the revenue cycle, registration, and insurance scope.
As a Revenue Cycle Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Developing plans, organizes and implements current and future strategies to bill customers, processes payments, minimizes bad debt, improves cash flow and manages the overall health of the company's receivables. This encompasses both the institutional side and professional side of the revenue cycle.
- Manages the day-to-day activities of the Health System as they relate to revenue cycle functions which include but are not limited to front office services, billing, collections, accounts receivables and all patient financial services.
- Works with clinics or practice business offices on revenue cycle performance to meet short-term strategic goals and provides analysis and creates written guidelines, policies, and procedures in accordance with implementation of all work processes as a result of thorough analysis.
- Develops strategic plans and programs for the Revenue Cycle team, ensures that goals and objectives of the team are defined and established.
- Delineates, defines, and streamlines functional activities, ensuring effectiveness in maximizing the utilization of asset and people resources.
- Develops budgetary plans, programs, and guidelines to ensure the team's strict adherence with financial guidelines and requirements.
- Ensures operating expenses are within the limits of budget plans and fiscal guidelines.
- Note: Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM), Certified Revenue Cycle Executive (CRCE), or Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP) required within 1 year of hire.
- Note: 10 years relevant equivalent experience in lieu of education requirement (BA/BS) with a minimum of 5-year leadership experience
