Job Summary
Baptist Health is hiring a Risk Manager II to join the Risk Management team. This is a full-time opportunity located at Baptist Medical Center South.
Responsibilities:
- Manages the daily Risk Management activities of assigned areas to include incident management, claims management to decrease financial loss and enhance patient safety and quality of care.
- Collaborates with employees to identify and implement risk reduction strategies to enhance patient safety and quality care.
- Is responsible for compliance with state and federal reporting requirements and to ensure that their Risk Management Program is in compliance with state and federal laws.
**Registered Nurse License required.
Experience:
- 3-5 Years Risk Management Experience Preferred
- 3-5 Years Experience working in a health care setting Preferred
Education/Degree Required:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Degree Preferred:
Master of Arts/Science (MA/MS)
Bachelor of Science (non Nursing)
